đ About Super Mario 64
Super Mario 64 is a groundbreaking 3D platformer released in 1996 as a launch title for the Nintendo 64. It pioneered 3D gameplay mechanics that are still used today, including the analog stick control, dynamic camera system, and open-world exploration.
Princess Peach has invited Mario to her castle for cake, but when he arrives, he discovers Bowser has taken over and trapped the Princess and her Toads inside the walls using the power of the Stars. Mario must collect Power Stars hidden in paintings throughout the castle to unlock doors and ultimately face Bowser.
â Power Stars
The castle contains 15 main courses, each accessible through magical paintings. Each course has 7 Stars to collect (6 mission stars + 100 coin star). There are also 15 secret castle stars, totaling 120 Power Stars!
